This is a simple recipe for making a delicious, healthy hummus. Great source of vegetarian protein ~ enjoy with your fav veggies, sandwiches, wraps, pizzas, & more.
2 cups cooked organic chickpeas
2 tbsp organic tahini
2 tbsp organic, 1st cold-pressed olive
Juice of 1 organic lemon
4 cloves of organic garlic, chopped
1/2 cup purified water
Sea salt to taste
(optional for garnish) handful of parsley, chopped
Sauté garlic in your choice of oil (I prefer coconut oil) until lightly brown. Add cooked chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, & garlic into blender. Squeeze juice of 1 lemon and add 1/2 cup of water to the mixture. Blend until smooth. Salt to taste. Garnish with a drizzle of olive oil and chopped parsley.
